The Vital Spark, Inveraray
The Vital Spark is a fictional Clyde puffer, created by Scottish writer Neil Munro. As its captain The Argyll brewer Fyne Ales, situated close to Inveraray, where the current boat rests and Neil Munro was born, produces a beer called Vital Spark. Inveraray - the gateway to Argyll. Scotland's last working Clyde Puffer, the VITAL SPARK of Glasgow Car park, picnic area and toilets are all available.
Sailing south from Inveraray, the VitalSpark would have been a frequent caller comprising 'a numberofsmall houses scattered overa considerable area.
